The leaves really came down over the weekend, and I did the thing I do every year: stood at the window feeling like I should be doing something about fall, with absolutely no plan for what.

Every October I lose about two weeks to vaguely wanting the house to feel like the season before I actually start anything.

So this year I made the list first. It's in The Well-Kept Home, everything I want done before November, broken into pieces small enough to actually do.

Today's video is me looking out at the leaves, getting the list, and starting the first thing on it. That's the whole video. It's not impressive. It's just the difference between wanting a cozy house and having one.
